semester 2 plan
in semester 2 I want to mainly improve my ceramic skills, from the start of the year I have already made much progress but I want to make more intricate details and come up with my own original designs, ill still make pieces inspired of other things but I like coming up with my own things. right now I need to finish unit five, all I have left is my piece inspired by a current artist

my partner and i talked about exactly what we thought the piece should look like, so all I had to do was make it, I didn't use any tools except for a kidney and sponge for this because it was easy to sculpt by hand

i wanted to make this peice as close to the drawing as possible but I inevitably had to make some changed due to structural support

mask project

i got a lot of inspiration from masons mask project, so I made mine somewhat similar, I mostly used my hands and one carving tool to make this. to make the eyes symetrical I actually folded the mask from the nose and carved them at the same time

i made a manatee becuase i like manatees. i really like the shape of this peice but i hate how spotty the colors turned out
choice project

i really like Guardians of the Galaxy so i wanted to make something from it. it took me 3 tries before I got groot to look right, i made each peice seprate then attached and sculpted. i like how this turned out
unit 6
whimsical house

i just have 0 motivation to finish this
i didn't really have a plan going into this, I just wanted to create this makeshift-looking house that was built tall and looks kind of rickety. i don't really like how it turned out

i had zero plan going into this, i didn't even think of making it a bird until I actually made it. i liked how this project was going until it was done. i do not love the final product much.
